"There’s never time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over."
Many projects suffer from pour preparation phase. The reason is mainly lack of time to really dig into given - usually very vague - requirements, and do the proper analysis.
Properly prepared project must contain:
- detailed requirements, possibly with test cases
- technical specification
- functional specification
- work breakdown
- project schedule
- income, cost and ROI study
- risk analysis and feasibility study
This approach gives you a very different insight and yields batter performance down the timeline.
